We’re coming in hot! And yes, that means it’s time to drink more water!
This summer in California we set some new record high temps. And it’s still hot in October! So yes, I’m sure we will be seeing a plethora of bad overly sexy Halloween costumes this year since the threat of freezing one’s ass off is non-existent. But let’s get serious for a moment here. What do you do to keep cool & take care of that awesome body of yours when it’s all uber hot in here? Take a wild guess.
Yep, you drink water — and you drink way more than you think you need.
First on my list, always, is staying hydrated. I know, I know, you hear it all the time. Check this out though – our body is 75% water and our brain is 80% water, so it makes sense that water is essential to us and needs to be replenished. We can go for a month without food, but we can only last 2-3 days without water!
Water is the second most popular beverage in the U.S. The numero uno is soft drinks, which is a super scary stat! Soda has ZERO nutritional value and is an ENORMOUS health hazard, upping the risk of obesity, stroke, and other heart problems. Drinking water has endless awesome benefits from detoxifying your kidneys, to preventing premature aging, pain, and headaches, reducing hypertension, and promoting weight loss.
Most people are totally unaware of how important water is to keep our bodies happy.
They spend most of their lives dehydrated, needlessly suffering from low energy, cravings, and symptoms, not realizing they could feel much better simply by drinking more water.
So click here to watch this week’s episode of #TPLTIPS for some easy tips and tricks to help you drink more water and get the WORD UP!
