So, I’ve got five high vibe book recommendations for you below that are sure to bring a little enlightenment and a ton of fun into your life.
Spirit Junkie by Gabrielle Bernstein
I love Gabrielle Bernstein’s book Spirit Junkie for so many reasons. She’s such a great storyteller, but more than that, it’s like having a conversation with a really good friend who drops some awesome spiritual knowledge on you, wrapped up with serious lessons in self-love, releasing fear and making room for miracles. Yes, please!
You are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero
If you’ve worked with me before, you might have received this book as a gift. Yep, I love this book so much I send it to my clients!! And yes, the title says it all. This book is so badass, and after 27 bite-sized chapters full of hilariously inspiring stories, sage advice, easy exercises and the occasional F-bomb, you will be too. Boom!
The Fire Starter Sessions by Danielle Laporte
Danielle Laporte is a revelation – and this book is the revolution you’ve been waiting for. The Fire Starter Sessions gives you permission to fully want what you want and really go for it, to expand your consciousness and your cash flow, to dream way bigger dreams, and to be generous with your talents and love. This book will ignite you into action. Take that self doubt!
Daring Greatly by Brené Brown
Brené Brown is a qualitative researcher for the soul—a storyteller who has spent the last thirteen years studying vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. In Daring Greatly, Brené Brown challenges everything we think we know about vulnerability. She argues that vulnerability is not weakness—to be vulnerable is the surest path to courage, engagement, and meaningful connection. We become strong by embracing vulnerability, we dare more greatly when we acknowledge our fear. This is one of those books I can’t stop thinking about.
If you want a little view inside the mind of Brené Brown, check out her amazing TED Talks, on “The Power of Vulnerability” and “Listening to Shame“. They will change your life!
The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks
The Big Leap was one of the first and best personal development books I’d ever read. This book inspired me to look at my capabilities in a whole new way. According to Hendricks, there are four main zones that we operate in: Incompetence, Competence, Excellence and Genius. And ideally, we want to be living in our Zone of Genius all the time: “Discovering your Zone of Genius is your life’s Big Leap. Everything up until now has been about hops, not leaps. Hopping, though it seems safe, is actually hazardous to your health. If you confine yourself to hops, you run the risk of rusting from the inside out.“
Hendricks offers a simple, yet comprehensive program for overcoming our barriers to happiness and fulfillment, and a clear path to success in love, life and business.
