Hello my Kick Ass Comrades!
Happy almost 4th of July!
It’s time to talk about another Vital Food. You know, those are the foods that really feed us. When one of our Vital Foods is out of balance, it can throw everything off, including our connection to our supporting foods, the actual grub we put in our mouths.
Last time, we talked about the importance of happy, healthy relationships filled with friendship, love, intimacy, sex and touch. And just in time to celebrate our independence, I want to address another biggie—Work Life.
There is no question we all spend an enormous amount of time working. It feels like half our lives! And many people spend those days, weeks, months, and years in careers that are diametrically opposed to who they are as a spiritual being.
If this sounds all too familiar, perhaps it’s time for a little check in! As the saying goes, find the work you love or find a way to love the work you do.
But what a monster task, right?! Well, here are some essential steps to help you step-up and take charge of this Vital Food.
So now that you’ve learned how to put together the framework that defines what success means to you, it’s time to apply it! Like Scott Dinsmore asks, “What is the work you can’t not do?”
